Time to layer!
This season it time to layer! There are so many different ways you can layer, its so much fun to do!
Scarves: During the winter you might want to wear scarves if you live up north! But all of the really cute scarves are the really light ones! That is a big problem. Heres a soultion that really works. Get a bold colored heavy scarf and a cute patterned light one. Then wrap the light one around the heavy one!
Tops: It's a little too chilly to wear your summer tanks, but there are tons of new ways to layer them! Try one under a cardigan, under a deep V-neck top, or over a girly blouse. You can easily transform your favorite summer shirt by putting it over a tee or try a tube top underneath in a contrasting color.
Pants and Skirts: During the winter its to cold to wear your favorite cute short skirt. A fun way to fix that problem is to put leggings under your skirt. If you dont own leggings then you should put some type of skinny jean under it.
Clothes right for your body shape.
Your Shape: Full hourglass Best Work Look: Go for a pant suit with a jacket that falls below your hips, and trousers with straight legs and a side zipper (which makes a belly look flatter). Try V-neck sweaters or open-collar blouses to draw the eye up. Best Weekend Look: Try a pair of boot-cut jeans in a dark stretch denim paired with a slim sweater or a cozy corduroy blazer and a turtleneck.
Your Shape: Straight and boyish Best Work Look: Skirts cut on the bias, to add shape to your lower body, paired with sweater sets, which add a bit of bulk to your shoulders. If you prefer a suit, try a pencil skirt, and a fitted, shaped jacket with small shoulder pads. Best Weekend Look: Experiment with wide-leg yoga pants and a zip-up hoodie. Or try a boatneck sweater with low-cut, straight-leg jeans.
Your Shape: Broad shoulders, slim hips Best Work Look: Try pants with full-cut legs and cuffs, paired with an open-neck button-down blouse or V-neck sweater. Avoid jackets with shoulder pads. Best Weekend Look: A slouchy sweater over loose-fit jeans is a great option.
Your Shape: Full hips and bottom Best Work Look: Wear an A-line skirt with a sweater set or a softly-shaped jacket, both of which skim your curves. Or try a wrap dress with a swingy skirt. Best Weekend Look: Unstructured, wide-leg pants will take the emphasis off your lower half. Pair with a fitted top, such as a long-sleeved tee or a fine-knit sweater.
